The top book was “Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus”. The next era, they call the Harry Potter and dot.com era, from 1999 to 2009 and we see Amazon rising to the top, but printed books still dominate. From 2009 to 2013 they call “The Rise of the E-Book” and Hunger Games and Fifty Shades of Grey dominate. This is a great article for anyone that wants to reflect on trends in titles in the US. Best!
